Tony is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers. Prior to working with Renovo, Tony founded bio-based polymer flooring manufacturer, Verdia, Inc., which was acquired by Seal for Life Industries where Tony served as President of the Infrastructure Coatings Group. Tony began his career at ITW Performance Polymers.
Tony received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

Don brings more than 30 years experience as an operating executive, principal investor and entrepreneur. Prior to founding Renovo, Don was a partner at Four Corners Capital and established the firm’s operating partner practice that structured and managed private equity investments.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, David was a Partner at a boutique strategy and operational consulting firm advising middle market companies. David started his career as an investment analyst with Prudential Capital Group. He graduated Southern Methodist University with a degree in finance.

Eric served as Chief Technology Officer at former Renovo portfolio company, Global HR Research, where he played a key role in building and scaling the company’s technology platform. Earlier in his career, Eric held senior technology and engineering leadership at NewMile, SS&C Advent, and Vurv Technology, and was a co-founder and technology partner at Pacesetter Technology.

Kevin SmithOperating Partner
Kevin Smith brings over 25 years of experience in roles as operating partner, interim executive management, management consulting, and operations management. Experience includes a broad range of industries and improvement areas, including strategic planning, marketing and sales, product development, operations, and foundational infrastructure, having worked with over 50 companies, ranging in size from $10M to $8B in revenue. Common focus across positions has been developing an integrated, cross-functional platform for growth and accelerated business performance, under lean resource availability.
Kevin is currently Chairman and Operating Partner on Global HR Research and was previously an Operating Partner for Formation Brands. Prior to these roles, Kevin was a founding partner of CRG Partners Group and previously with management consulting firm George Group (now Accenture).

Frank GuidoneIndustry Partner
Frank brings over 30 years of operating and executive leadership to Renovo as an Industry Partner focused on the Sensor and Industrial IOT sectors. Most recently, Frank served as President/CEO and Director of Measurement Specialties, Inc (NASDAQ: MEAS), a designer/manufacturer of embedded sensors and sensor-based systems. At MEAS, Frank orchestrated a successful out-of-court restructuring earning TMAs turnaround-of-the-year in 2004.
He subsequently remained at the helm of MEAS and led a decade long expansion program, growing revenue from $40 million to $600 million over 10 years. Frank completed 24 acquisitions and deployed $450 million of capital within the embedded sensor sector, compounding earnings over 20% annually during that period. Frank exited in October 2014 following the successful sale to TE Connectivity (NYSE: TEL) at $86 per share, creating approximately $1.7 billion of incremental equity value under his leadership.
Prior to MEAS, Frank was a Founding Partner and Managing Director of CRP, a Dallas-based turnaround/restructuring firm, along with Four Corners Capital, a boutique investment/advisory firm, and spent 13 years in management consulting with Andersen Consulting and George Group, Inc. Frank received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Previously, Erik served in various management roles at Measurement Specialties, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEAS), including Vice President, Integration/Best Practices; Executive Director of Operations, Americas and Director of Global IT/Best Practices.
Prior to MEAS, Erik spent years in management consulting as a Partner at boutique strategy and operational consulting firm advising middle market companies and as a consultant at George Group, Inc., a manufacturing-focused management consulting company.

Bill served as Partner and semiconductor expert at Boston Consulting Group for the past 3 years. Prior to BCG, Bill spent 8 years at Qualcomm as SVP of Engineering and most recently as Technology Leader of IP Strategy. As SVP of Engineering, Bill provided strategic direction on the R&D of advanced wireless connectivity technologies and products. He was responsible for product development and delivery for Qualcomm’s mobile, infrastructure, automotive and IoT business units.
Prior to Qualcomm, Bill was VP of Engineering at Atheros Communications, developing multiple industry-leading hardware and software platforms. He also spent 15 years as SVP of Engineering and Operations at a start-up where he led a team focused on high performance communications products for consumer electronics and service provider markets resulting in a successful IPO. Bill earned his MBA and a Bachelors of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Old Dominion University and is the holder of 20 US patents.
