David HullPartner
David Hull brings over 20 years of experience in principal investing and management consulting. Prior to Renovo, David was with Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group providing debt and equity capital to middle market companies.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, David was a Partner at a boutique strategy and operational consulting firm advising middle market companies. David started his career as an investment analyst with Prudential Capital Group. He graduated Southern Methodist University with a degree in finance.
David is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and serves on the board of A.P. Nonweiler and Pavement Maintenance Group.

Kevin Smith

Kevin SmithOperating Partner
Kevin Smith brings over 25 years of experience in roles as operating partner, interim executive management, management consulting, and operations management. Experience includes a broad range of industries and improvement areas, including strategic planning, marketing and sales, product development, operations, and foundational infrastructure, having worked with over 50 companies, ranging in size from $10M to $8B in revenue. Common focus across positions has been developing an integrated, cross-functional platform for growth and accelerated business performance, under lean resource availability.
Kevin is currently Chairman and Operating Partner on Global HR Research and was previously an Operating Partner for Formation Brands. Prior to these roles, Kevin was a founding partner of CRG Partners Group and previously with management consulting firm George Group (now Accenture).
Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Rob MinorPrincipal
Rob Minor has over 10 years of experience working in strategic and operational value creation. Prior to Renovo, Rob was a Principal at Boston Consulting Group in the Technology Practice Area helping clients on key strategic initiatives including market due diligence, product portfolio strategy, operating model improvement, cost transformation and post-merger integration.
Rob began his career at GE Energy Management as a graduate of GE’s Commercial Leadership Program in the Electrical Distribution Equipment division and holds two patents on Electric Vehicle Infrastructure from his time at GE. Rob received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
